The project, unveiled on 26 November at the Le Stanze Showroom, embodies a perfect equilibrium of light, spatiality and contemporary design.
Escape Design has recently revealed the concept Aurora in Bloom for THE ROOOM, a competition dedicated to a select group of Italian architecture and interior design studios. Promoted by Ferroluce, Spaghetti Wall and Innova, the contest called for the design of a private dining room. The concept was evaluated by an exceptional jury of leading figures in design and sector journalism, including Cristian Malisan (Art Director, Spaghetti Wall), Giorgio Biscaro (Art Director, Ferroluce), Eleonora Barillari (Art Director, Innova), Fiorella Baserga (Editor-in-Chief, SUITE), Ivan Granolla (Editor-in-Chief, Guest), Patrizia Piccinini (DDN), Carlo Spinelli (Editorial Coordinator, ItaliaSquisita) and Laura Verdi (Editor-in-Chief, we:ll magazine).
Aurora in Bloom transcends pure aesthetics to become a truly holistic, immersive experience. The concept translates values such as comfort, sensitivity and spatial harmony into tangible forms. The result is an intimate, enveloping environment defined by a distinctive emotional narrative: a soft, radiant light drifts through the space, casting ripples and reflections across the table and the surrounding seating. The room becomes a living presence that gently embraces those within it, cultivating a serene and quietly stoic atmosphere.
The project features a curated selection of products from the three partner companies: Innuendo and Cool Old by Spaghetti Wall clad the walls in golden and natural hues; a composition of Siena suspension lights by Ferroluce, enhanced with crystal pendants, commands the room vertically; finally, the harmonious forms of the Eleven chairs and the Tala table by Innova complete the setting, where elegance and exclusivity are echoed in both the dining experience and the ambience.
The ten top projects – selected from submissions by leading studios from across Italy, including Archea Associati, Carlo Donati Studio, Chiara Caberlon, De.Tales, StudioCavallo21 and Studio Marco Piva – will advance to the final stage. The winner of THE ROOOM will see their concept brought to life within the Le Stanze showroom during Milan Design Week 2026.

experience, translating them into a form of tangible human wellbeing.
